Applications are invited for the temporary position Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the research project entitled ‘Pranmati Basin Himalayan critical Zone observatory (PBHCZO)- a collaborative project ” funded by Ministry of Earth Science (MOES) (GOI), New Delhi. 1. Position: Junior Research Fellows (JRF) 2. No of Post: 02 3. Qualification: First class Masters degree in Environmental Science/ allied subject from a recognized university. CSIR/UGC-NET/JRF or GATE qualified 4. Emoluments: 31000 pm +HRA 5. Duration: The position is for up to June 2024 / co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. 6. Nature of Duties: Monitoring and assessment of aerosols, Nutrients and other Environmental parameters at Pranmati Basin (Distt Chamoli), data synthesis, report work, etc. 7. Qualifications & Experience: a) Essential: First class Masters Degree in Env. Sciences/ allied subject with working experience of Environmental pollution study. CSIR/UGC-NET/JRF or GATE qualified b) Desirable: Proficiency in computers, designing of statistical models & experience in equipment handling, field experience of working in mountains.
Pay Scale: INR 31000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years on date of submission
