Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati requires suitable candidate for the following contractual posts for Cipla Foundation supported project Home Based Palliative Care Services" 1. Position: Medical Social Worker 2. No. of post: 1 (one) 3. Eligibility Criteria: Masters in Social Work 4. Desirable: Specialization in Medical & Psychiatric social work experience in health related social work. 5. Consolidated Salary: Rs.20,000/- p.m. 1. Position: Counselor 2. No. of post: 1 (one) 3. Eligibility Criteria: Masters in Psychology Social Work 4. Desirable: Hospital Based experience clinical in counselling or experience in medical & psychiatric social work. 5. Consolidated Salary: Rs.20,000/- p.m.

Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
How to Apply:
1. Interested eligible candidates may report for walk-in-interview with complete bio-data supported by passport size photograph, attested copies of certificates and other testimonials before the Selection Committee on 06.05.2022 (Friday) between 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Conference Hall of the Institute
2. Candidates, who are serving under Central State Government/ Public Authority, must produce permission letter from their present employer for appearing in the interview.
3. Moreover, the candidate must bring the original certificates in support of their qualification/ age/ previous experience etc for verification at the time of interview Appointment will be made for 12 months only
4. The decision of the Institute as to eligibility or otherwise of a candidate will be final. No TA/DA would be paid for appearing in the interview.
5. Please note that canvassing/ bribing in any form will be a disqualification and would lead to cancellation of candidature.
