Number of Vacancy: 19 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Dredge Cadets: Should have completed Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from Institutes approved by D.G. Shipping.
Trainee Marine Engineer: Should have completed four years degree in Marine Engineering from any IMU affiliated colleges/Institutes approved by D.G. Shipping/ Institutes recognised by any State or Central Government or the AICTE. (OR) Should have Graduate Marine Engineering from a recognised university after completion of four years Engineering Degree.
Trainee Electrical Officer: Should have completed four years Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation recognised by any State or Central Government or the AICTE. Should have completed four months Electro Technical Officer course from DG Shipping approved Institute.
Pay Scale:
INR
25000/- Per Month
Age Limit: As Per Rules.
Selection Procedure: please refer to official notification.
Application Fee: For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-para (9/ii) below: Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only) to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Field Trial, after deducting bank charges. (UR-MALE, OBC-MALE, EWS MALE Rs.500/-).

Candidates are required to produce the following documents in original, along with one set of photocopies duly self attested during document verification failing which candidates will not be allowed for the Interview.

The Dredging Corporation of India Limited (D C I) was established in the year 1976 to provide dredging services to the Major Ports of the country in India. D C I is a pioneer organization in the field of dredging and maritime development. D C I is fully equipped to offer the complete range of dredging and allied services to the users in India and Abroad and to provide the vital inputs for the national development.
