Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Age must be between 18 and 45 years as on 16 November 2026. Age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per H.P. Government rules.
- Senior Research Fellow (Pesticide Residues): Essential: Master degree in Entomology/Nematology. Desirable: Experience with analytical instruments, published papers in pesticide residue analysis, acquaintance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- Senior Research Fellow (Field Gene Bank): Essential: M.Sc. in Fruit Science. Desirable: Research experience, especially on temperate fruits.
- Young Professional-II (Alstroemeria): Essential: M.Sc. in Floriculture and Landscaping/Architecture. Desirable: Project handling experience, Alstroemeria crop/germplasm knowledge.
- Young Professional-I (White Sandalwood): Essential: B.Sc. in Horticulture. Desirable: Research experience in plant pathology.
- Young Professional-II (Dahlia): Essential: M.Sc. in Floriculture, NET Qualified. Preferred: Ph.D. in Floriculture or flower cultivation experience.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Selection is based on Document Verification and Direct Interview at the Office Chamber of the Director of Research, UHF, Nauni (Solan) on 20 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. No separate call letters will be issued; candidates must report at their own expense. Original testimonials must be produced. No TA/DA will be paid. The University reserves the right not to fill any or all vacancies.
