PwBD reservation is 4% and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) reservation is 3% (horizontal). Trades include Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Carpenter, Computer Operator, and 20 others.
Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th) under 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board, as on 21 August 2026.
Technical Qualification: ITI certificate in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT), as per Apprentices Act, 1961.
Special Trades: For Laboratory Technician (Pathology) – 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (50% in 10th & 12th). For Secretarial Assistant – National Trade Certificate (NTC). For Computer Operator – board-based basic training in IT sector with NTC.
Not Eligible: Engineering graduates/diploma holders, those with awaited results, or failed ITI.
Age Limit (as on 15 September 2026)
General: 15 to 24 years.
SC/ST: Upper age relaxation of 5 years (up to 29 years).
OBC: Upper age relaxation of 3 years (up to 27 years).
PwBD: Upper age relaxation of 10 years.
Ex-Servicemen: Additional 10 years + 3 years, subject to minimum 6 months of service.
Pay online via Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Net Banking.
Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per Railway Board directives. No exact amount specified in notification. No hostel accommodation provided.
Selection Process – No Exam, Only Merit
Merit list based on Matriculation percentage (minimum 50% aggregate).
No written test or interview.
Tie-breaking: older candidate gets priority; if same DOB, earlier Matriculation pass.
Document Verification (DV) at ECoR Headquarters, Bhubaneswar.
Final selection after medical fitness certificate.
