Educational Qualification: MS/MD
Interview for empanelment of Visiting/Adjunct Faculty as on 20/04/2022 Specialty and Super specialty post for all the disciplines involved in Undergraduate (MBBS) and Post Graduate (MD/MS) and Super specialty (DM/M. Ch) courses
1. Position: Adjunct Faculty or Visiting Faculty
2. Educational & Other Qualification:
a) Essential for Medical Candidates:
i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or| Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian| Medical Council Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in Part l of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act); and
ii) A post graduate qualification equivalent to MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/alliedd discipline and above.v
3. Experience: Eight years of work experience in the concerned specialty after| obtaining the PG Degree.
4. Scope of work: Each visiting faculty will be required to conduct one session of 3 hours duration. The Visiting Faculty shall not be involved in the routine administrative work of the department and shall not replace the roles and responsibilities of the full-time faculty in the department.
5. Pay and allowance:
a) As per Hqrs letter No. L/11/12/3/2016/MC-Sanath Nagar/MEC (PF-1) dated: 03/09/2020
b) Honorarium would be paid to the Visiting/ Adjunct Faculty as under:
i) Director Professor/ Professor - Rs 6000/-
ii) Additional/ Associate Professor - Rs 4000/-
c) Retirees from Central/State Govt./PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible to apply. Persons working in recognized/approved Private Medical Institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria for the post may also apply.
d) The candidates have to attach the self-attested copies of all the relevant certificates/testimonials on support of date of birth, category, sub-category i.e. Educational qualification, teaching experience, Pension Payment Order (PPO), etc.
6. Terms of Contract: Selected candidates shall be appointed on purely contractual basis for the maximum period of one year. The same can be extended for one year. The contractual engagement may be terminated/ discontinued on either side giving one month prior notice to this effect without assigning reason. Other terms and condition will be applicable as issued by competent authority from time to time.

Selection Procedure
1. The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the selection Board. The date and time of interview will be communicated through mail.
2. Result will be communicated through e-mail/sms and will be displayed on web-site.
3. Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of offer of Appointment.

1. The candidates may ascertain their eligibility and "walk-in'" for interview on the appointed day one Hour before schedule time of interview at the venue.
2. The ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.
Important Instructions:
i. These posts have been advertised for Adjunct/ Visiting faculty selection.
ii. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.
iii. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily rejected.
iv. Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
v. Opportunity of interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.
vi. The interviews shall be conducted at DEAN OFFICE, ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, NH -3, NIT, FARIDABAD. However, ESIC reserves the right to change the centre, if needed. other
