Note: Age limit for all posts is not exceeding 45 years as on the date of walk-in interview (09.10.2026). Reservation applies as per Government of India guidelines. Vacancies are provisional and may vary as per patient-care requirements. A PwD category appointment will be adjusted against the relevant General/SC/ST/OBC/EWS vacancy.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Senior Resident (All Departments): Post Graduate qualification – MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty, in accordance with the latest guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC/MCI). Candidates must hold updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) for all post-MBBS and PG qualifications.
• Non-PG Resident (ICU Department Only): MBBS degree with a minimum of 02 years of experience, of which at least 01 year must be in the concerned specialty (ICU / General Medicine / Emergency Medicine / Casualty / Anaesthesia) from a Government or PSU hospital. This option is applicable only if PG-qualified candidates do not appear for the ICU posts.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on 09.10.2026. No age relaxation is mentioned in the notification.
• Medical Registration: Candidates must possess valid NMC or State Medical Council registration. Those whose registration is under process must submit an "Applied for" document copy at the time of interview.
• NOC: Candidates currently employed in Government/Autonomous/Statutory institutions should carry an NOC from their employer. If NOC is not immediately available, a copy of the "Applied for NOC" application along with a written undertaking must be submitted at document verification.
• Eligibility Reference: As per ESIC Headquarters Office Memorandum No. Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022 and any subsequent orders.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Document Verification: Candidates must appear before the Document Verification Committee on 09.10.2026 at the Examination Hall, Academic Block, ESIC Medical College & Hospital Faridabad, carrying the offline application form (attached with the advertisement), originals, and self-attested copies of all documents. Only candidates whose documents are successfully verified will be allowed before the Interview Board.
2. Interview: Selection is made purely on the basis of academic credentials and performance in a personal interview conducted by a duly constituted Selection Board at ESIC Medical College & Hospital Faridabad.
3. Result Publication: Results will be published only on the Recruitments section of www.esic.gov.in. Offer of appointment will be sent via email.
4. No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Dearness Allowance will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview or for submission of any document.
5. Security Deposit: Selected candidates must submit a refundable security deposit of Rs. 20,000/- through Demand Draft payable to "ESI Fund A/c No. 1" at Faridabad. It will be refunded upon successful completion of the contract and submission of a No Dues Certificate. Resignation within 6 months of joining results in forfeiture of the deposit.

• Recent passport-size photograph and Aadhaar Card

Important Instructions

• Separate application forms, documents, and fees are required for each post if a candidate applies for multiple posts.
• Applications in any format other than the prescribed one, or incomplete applications, will be summarily rejected.
• Wrong declarations, false information, or any action contrary to law will lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
• Merit-based engagement for 39 days may be offered at the sole discretion of the Appointing Authority if reserved category candidates are not available.

Contract Terms & Conditions (Employment Nature)

• Tenure: Initial 01 (One) year, extendable up to 03 (Three) years subject to satisfactory performance, willingness, conduct, and institutional requirements.
• No Service Benefits: Senior Residents cannot claim Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Medical Benefits, Seniority, Promotion, or similar entitlements. The appointment is strictly on a contract basis.
• Termination: The competent authority may terminate services at any time in public interest without prior notice or reason.
• Resignation: One month advance notice must be submitted, or an equivalent amount must be deposited. Non-compliance results in forfeiture of one-month salary and security deposit.
• Private Practice: Strictly prohibited after joining as Senior Resident.
• Attendance: Recorded both manually and via Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS). Absence exceeding 07 days without approval is treated as voluntary abandonment.
• Accommodation: Hostel accommodation/quarters may be provided to the extent possible but cannot be claimed as a right. No HRA is payable if accommodation is availed.
