Skills / Eligibility
1. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor 2. No of Post: 34 3. Consolidated Remuneration: 101000/- per month 4. Educational & Other Qualification: A) Essential for Medical Candidates: (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act); and (ii) a post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline. (iii) For Dentistry: A Post Graduate qualification viz. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline. B) Essential for Non — Medical Candidates : (i) A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and (ii) A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject or allied discipline. C) Experience : (a) For the candidates processing Doctor of Medicine (MD)/ Masters of Surgery (MS) from Medical Council of India recognized medical colleges; Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident or Registrar or Demonstrator or Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the post - graduate course or after obtaining postgraduate degree in the subject. (b) For the candidates possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification from Medical Council of India recognized medical colleges or central institutes where the number of doctor of medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) course running; (i) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college either during the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) course or after possessing the diplomat of national board (DNB) qualification. (ii) The concerned candidate would also require one year experience of additional teaching or research experience in the concerned subject in a recognized medical college after obtaining the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification. (c) For candidates possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification from Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical colleges or central institutes where there are Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Masters of Surgery (MS) courses running; Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college either during the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) course or after obtaining Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification. (d) For the candidates possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification from centers other than of Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical colleges or central institutes: (i) Three years teaching experience in the subject either during the Diplomat of National Board (DNB) course or after possessing Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification. (ii) The concerned candidate would require two years additional teaching experience as Sr. Resident or Research Associate (CSIR) in a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical college or central institute. (iii) Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor Statistician (Community Medicine) is (Qualification. MSC. Statics or MSC. Bio Statics.) (e) "Research Experience": (i) For the candidates obtaining Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualification from centers other than Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized medical colleges or central institutes, the concerned candidate should have minimum two publications (accepted or published) in the index journal (National/lnternational as first or second author). (ii) In case the concerned candidate does not have the required publication, he must have a total of three years teaching experience in a recognized college or central institute after possessing Diplomat of National Boam (DNB) qualification.
Pay Scale: INR 101000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years (relaxable up to five years for employees of the ESIC & Govt. Servants, in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt. from time to time).Not exceeding 67 years on date of interview for contractual recruitment.
Selection Procedure
(i) The selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidate in interview before the selection Board.
(ii) Result will be communicated through e-mail / sms and will be displayed on web-site.
(iii) Selected candidates will have to join immediately after receipt of offer of Appointment.

Details and application form can be downloaded from website www.esic.nic.in.The interested candidates should report for document verification on 13/12/2021 at 09:00 AM in ESIC Medical College & Hospital, NH-3, NIT, Faridabad, thereafter interview will be scheduled.
1. The candidates may ascertain their eligibility and 'walk-in' for interview on the appointed day One Hours before schedule time of interview at the venue.
2. The ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage at its discretion and such decision will be binding on all concerned.
Important Instructions:
1. These posts have also been advertised for regular selection.
2. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate to be interviewed.
3. Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only. The applications found to be incomplete will be summarily-rejected.
4. Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
5. Opportunity of interview given to candidates will be on provisional basis.
6. No Faculty Forms will be accepted after 10:00 am under any circum#ances.
7. The interviews shall be conducted at Dean Office, Esic Medical College, Nh-3, NIT, Faridabad. However, EStC reserves the right to change the centre, if needed.
