Number of Vacancy: 10 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Officer-in-Charge: Graduate (Min 05 years of experience in Health care Institutions or Managerial Positions).
Medical Officer: MBBS. Min 05 Years after internship Preferable additional Qualification in Medicine/Surgery.
Dental Officer: BDS. Min 05 Years Work Experience.
Nursing Assistant (General): G.N.M Diploma/ Class I Nursing Assistants Course (Armed Forces) Minimum Five years of experience).
Pharmacist: Graduate/ Class/ Clerical Trade (Armed Forces). (Minimum 05 years of experience).
Lab Technician: (i) B Pharmacy from a recognized Institute. (ii) 10+2 with Science Stream (Physics Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized Board. (Min 03 Years of experience).
Dental Assistant: Diploma Holder in Dental Hyg/ Class-1 DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces) (Minimum 05 years of experience).
Driver: Education 8 class class I MT driver (Armed Forces Possess a civil driving license (Minimum Five years of experience).
Female Attendant: Literate. (Minimum five years of experience in Civil/Army Health Institutions).
Safaiwala: Literate (Minimum five years of experience).
Pay Scale:
INR
21800-95000/- Per Month

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is a flagship healthcare initiative launched by the Government of India to provide quality medical care to ex-servicemen and their dependents. ECHS functions through a network of polyclinics across India, along with tie-ups with private hospitals and diagnostic centers to expand its reach and accessibility.
The ECHS is contributory in nature, with a one-time subscription based on the rank of the retiree, allowing lifetime membership for beneficiaries. This scheme greatly enhances the post-retirement welfare of armed forces personnel, reducing the burden of medical expenses and ensuring dignified healthcare access. Beneficiaries are issued ECHS smart cards, which are essential for availing services at empaneled facilities. Over the years, the scheme has expanded significantly, both in terms of infrastructure and services, reflecting the government’s commitment to the well-being of its veterans and their families.
