Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (FDCM) was established on 16th February 1974, by State Government, it’s a wholly Government Company of Maharashtra. It's a joint venture of Government of India and State Government to raise Institution Finance for raising man made Forest to meet the Domestic and Industrial needs of Forest Products and re grow the degraded forest areas of the State.

The Department carry on business of Foresters, Planters, Cultivator, Sellers, Dealer in Timber Industrial Woods, Fir Woods, Charcoal,etc.
