Candidates possessing SSC to B.Sc qualifications with relevant diplomas can apply Offline. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Office Subordinate

• Essential: Must have passed SSC or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

Eligibility for Anesthesia Technician

• Essential: Must possess Intermediate with science Groups and 2 years Diploma in Anaesthesia Technician.
• Registration: Must be registered in APPMB.

Eligibility for Cardiology Technician

• Essential: B.Sc Degree from a Recognized University with 2 years Diploma in Cardiology Technician with 2 years Diploma in Electrocardiography from a Recognized Institution OR B.Sc in Cardiovascular Technology from a Recognized Institution.
• Registration: Must be registered in APPMB.

Eligibility for Lab Technician

• Essential: Must possess DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) OR Intermediate (VOC) with one year apprenticeship in Govt. Hospitals.
• Registration: Must be registered in APPMB. In case of candidate possessing both DMLT and B.Sc MLT, the maximum percentage secured in any of the above shall be considered.

Eligibility for Operation Theatre Technician

• Essential: Must possess Diploma in Medical Sterilization Management & Operation Theatre Technician.
• Registration: Must be registered in APPMB.

Eligibility for General Duty Attendant

• Essential: Must have passed SSC/10th Class or its equivalent from a recognized Board.

Eligibility for Store Attendant

• Essential: Must have passed SSC or its equivalent.

Eligibility for Lab Attendant

• Essential: Must have passed SSC/10th or its equivalent. Must possess Lab Attendant Course or Intermediate (Lab Attendant Vocational Course) conducted by the Board of Inter Education, AP or from any other institution recognized by the Govt of AP.

Eligibility for ECG Technician

• Essential: Must have passed intermediate examination or its equivalent. Must possess Diploma in ECG Technician course from a recognized institution.
• Registration: Must be registered in APPMB.

Eligibility for Library Assistant

• Essential: Must possess Intermediate with CLISc (Certificate in Library Science) from a recognized university.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Maximum Age: 42 years (as on 01.12.2025)
• Relaxation for SC, ST, BC and EWS: 05 years
• Relaxation for Ex-service Men: 03 years
• Relaxation for Differently Abled Persons: 10 years
• Maximum Age with relaxations: 52 years

Application Fee

• OC Candidates: Rs. 300/-
• BC/SC/ST/EWS/Ex-Service Candidates/PWD (Other than OC): Rs. 200/-
• Mode of Payment: Demand Draft in favor of Principal, Government Medical College, Rajamahendravaram. Separate DD required for each post.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the following criteria (Total 100 Marks):

• Academic Marks: 75% weightage for aggregate marks in qualifying examination.
• Waiting Period Weightage: Up to 10 marks (1 mark per completed year after acquiring qualification).
• Service Weightage: Up to 15% for candidates working on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis (including COVID-19 service).
• Area Weightage: Tribal (2.5 marks/6 months), Rural (2.0 marks/6 months), Urban (1.0 mark/6 months).
• COVID-19 Weightage: 0.8 marks per completed month for COVID service less than 6 months.
