Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Assistant Superintendent (Hindi Translator): Degree in Hindi with English/Prescribed Diploma; 2 years experience.
- Junior Supervisors: 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering (Electrical/Instrumentation) with 1-2 years supervisory experience.
- Technical Assistants: 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Shipbuilding, Civil, Instrumentation) with 2 years experience in the line.
- Nurse (Male): B.Sc Nursing or 2-year Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery; 2 years experience.
- ITI Trades (Welder, Instrument Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic): Relevant ITI Certificate with 2 years experience in the shipbuilding industry.
- SSC Based Trades (Painter, Khalasi, 3G Welder, Safety Steward): SSC with prescribed certificates or specific experience ranging from 2 to 10 years.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process involves three stages: Written Test (CBT/PBT), Document Verification, and Skill/Trade Test. The Written Test consists of 25% General Aptitude and 75% Subject/Trade specific questions.
- Weightage: 50:50 (Sr. 1-3), 40:60 (Sr. 4-10), 30:70 (Sr. 11-20) for Written vs Skill Test.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% (General/EWS) and 35% (SC/ST/PwBD/OBC-NCL).
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Written Test or Skill Test.
