East Godavari District Invites Application for Social Counselor, Legal Counselor Recruitment 2022

Application are invited from .eligible female candidate for the following posts to work in Domestic Violence Act 2005 on contract basls for a period of one year from the date of appointment as per the terms and conditions prescribed by the Government . Qualification and other details:

1. Position: Social Counselor

2. Conditions: 

a) Applications obtained from the female candidates only The Social Counselor must have Master's Degree in Psychology/Social work, Post Graduate with Sociology with minimum 3 Years experience may also be considered. Graduates in Psychology /Sociology or Social Work with P.G.Diploma in Counselling with minimum 3 years of experience in Counseling will be eligible.

b) Ability to work on a computer and capable of using MS office package. The posts of Social Counselor shall be filled on contract for period of 12 months instead of hiring through a third party, as per the guidelines issued by the Government.

3. Remuneration: Rs.28,500/- PM

1. Position: Legal Counselor

2. Conditions: 

a) Applications obtained from the female candidates only The posts of Legal Counselors shall be filled on contract basis for a period of 12 Months instead of hiring through a third party, as per the guidelines issued by the Government.

b) Legal Counselor must have LLB, BL Qualification with 5 Years of minimum practice as an Advocate. The Legal Counselor are not permitted to take up practice as private counsels. Shall effectively discharge the duties and the responsibilities as assigned to them by the Protection Officer under the D.V Act and assist the Protection Officer in implementation of the provisions of the D.V.Act and Rules.

3. Remuneration: Rs.28,500/- PM

Selection Procedure

Incomplete/ unattached applications and applications arriving late will not be accepted only shortlisted candidates will be intimated.
