Educational Qualification: Officers under the Central/State Govts. and Union Territories holding posts in the rank of (a)(i) Assistant Engineer or equivalent; or (ii) Junior Engineer or equivalent with 3 years service in the grade; and (b) possessing a degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent and preferably experience in a research organization.(Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same organization/Department shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years)
