Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Krishi Udyami (KU) – Agricultural Entrepreneur: Diploma in Agriculture & Allied Fields (Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Agricultural Engineering, BHT, BAT) from a Government recognised institution; OR Graduation in Science (BSc); OR Graduation in Agriculture & Allied Fields (BSc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture; B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering; BVSc & AH) from a Government recognised institution.
• Additional Preference: Candidates possessing post-graduation in Science / Agriculture & Allied disciplines and computer diploma/certification (minimum 3 months duration from a Government recognised institution) will receive additional scoring points.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 45 years of age as of the last date of submission (14-10-2026).

Selection Process & Point-Based Screening

Selection is conducted entirely on a point-based system with a maximum of 100 points:

Sub-breakdown of Educational Qualification (45 Points): Diploma in Agriculture / BHT / BAT etc. – 15 Points; General Graduation (Science) – 25 Points; Graduation in Agriculture & Allied Courses – 45 Points.

Important Instructions for Selected Candidates

• The selected KU shall enter into an agreement with the Assistant Project Director (APD) and deposit a refundable security amount of ₹10,000 in the form of a Fixed Deposit Receipt from any scheduled commercial bank.
• Initial engagement period is 2 years, with the possibility of annual extensions subject to satisfactory performance.
• Engaged candidates are not entitled to claim any regular appointment under the scheme at any point of time.
• Assets provided by the department for Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) remain the exclusive property of the department.
• If a KU leaves the assignment or is disengaged before completing 2 years, the security deposit of ₹10,000 will be forfeited.
• The agreement may be terminated by both parties with 3 months' prior written notice.
