Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited by the Department of Social Defence from the eligible candidates who possess the following qualifications for appointment of Social Worker Members of the Juvenile Justice Boards constituted under the provisions of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. Social Worker Member for Juvenile Justice Boards is to be appointed on an honorarium basis of which one shall be a woman.

2. Qualification: The applicants should have been actively involved in health, education or welfare activities pertaining to children for at least seven years or a practicing professional with a degree in child psychology, psychiatry, sociology, or law.
