Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Radiographer

• Essential: Must have passed Two years Diploma course in Radio Diagnoses Technology conducted by the Board of Paramedical Education under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Government of Tamil Nadu or from any other institution recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu OR A Degree in B.Sc. (Radiography and imaging Technology) / B.Sc (Radio Diagnosis Technology) / B.Sc (Radiology and imaging Technology) in any university recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility for Lab Technicians-ICTC

• Essential Qualification: B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or BMLS OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or DMLS with the course duration of at least 2 years - Recognized by State Government / Central Government.
• Experience: Two years of experience of working in diagnostic laboratory for those with B.Sc/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (course duration of 2 years); One year experience for those working in diagnostic laboratory for candidates having M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology; Candidates with experience of working in accredited labs or those labs who have applied for accreditation will be preferred.
• Desirable: M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology / MMLS.

Eligibility for ICTC - Counselor

• Essential Qualification: Graduate degree holder in Psychology/ Social work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human development/ Nursing with 3 years of experience in counseling/educating under National Health Programme OR Post-Graduate in Psychology/ Social work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human development/ Nursing; If candidate is a person living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) - Graduate degree holder in Psychology/ Social work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human development/ Nursing with 1 year of experience in counseling/educating under National Health Programme.
• Desirable: Experience of working under the National AIDS and STD Control Programme (NACP) facility or community settings.

Eligibility for Therapeutic Assistant / Nursing Therapist / Nursing Therapist/Therapeutic Assistant

• Essential: Diploma Nursing Therapy (D.N.T) AYUSH.

Salary / Stipend

• Radiographer: Rs.13,300 per month
• Lab Technicians-ICTC: Rs.13,000 per month
• ICTC - Counselor: Rs.18,000 per month
• Therapeutic Assistant (Post 4): Rs.15,000 per month
• Therapeutic Assistant (Female) / Nursing Therapist / Nursing Therapist/Therapeutic Assistant: Rs.13,000 per month

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2025)

• Radiographer, Lab Technicians-ICTC, ICTC - Counselor: 40 Years
• Therapeutic Assistant, Nursing Therapist, Nursing Therapist/Therapeutic Assistant: 59 Years

• Filled applications along with self-attested copies of certificates should be submitted in person or sent via Speed Post to: District Health Officer / Administrative Secretary, District Health Society, District Collector Office Campus, Namakkal District - 637003.
• Required enclosures: Evidence of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate / SSLC/HSC Certificate), Evidence of Educational Qualification and Marks, Proof of Residency: Voter ID/Aadhar Card/Ration Card/Phone Bill/EB Bill, Any other special records of significance from competent authorities.
