Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA)

  • Essential Qualification: Candidate must have passed Madhyamik or its equivalent from a board/council/institution recognized by the Government of India or State Government. Marks obtained without additional subjects will be considered.
  • Marital Status: Candidate should be married, divorced, or widowed (Certificate from competent authority required).
  • Residential Requirement: Candidate must be a resident of the same service village mentioned in the vacancy list (Proof required via Ration Card, EPIC, or Certificate of Gr-A officer).
  • Age Limit: 30 to 40 years as of 01-01-2026. Relaxation for SC/ST (Lower age limit relaxed to 22 years).

  • Selection is based on marks obtained in the Madhyamik/equivalent examination (90% weightage).
  • Score in the interview (10% weightage).
