1. Post Name: Vice Chancellor

2. As the Vice-Chancellor is the Principal executive and academic officer of the University, he/she is required to have sound administrative acumen besides being an eminent professional and a distinguished academician.

3. He/She must be a person of integrity, vision and foresight to lead the University to heights of academic excellence.

4. He should have at least ten years of experience as Professor in a University system or 10 years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research or academic organization in the field of Teaching, Research or Extension in Agriculture or allied areas.

5. Experience in Senior Management positions in the areas mentioned above will be considered as a desirable qualification.

6. The Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for a term of three years from the date on which he enters office subject to the age of his superannuation.
