Educational Qualification:
(i) Electrical: Full time B.E./B.Tech.(Electrical) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in 7th & 8th semester without ATKT.
(ii) Mechanical: Full time B.E./B.Tech.(Mechanical) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in 7th & 8th semester without ATKT.
(iii) Instrumentation & Control: Full time B.E./B.Tech.(Instrumentation & Control) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in 7th & 8th semester without ATKT.
(iv) Electronics & Communication: Full time B.E./B.Tech.(Electronics & Communication) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in 7th & 8th semester without ATKT.
(v) Metallurgy: Full time B.E./B.Tech.(Metallurgy) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in 7th & 8th semester without ATKT.
(vi) Civil: Full time B.E./B.Tech.(Civil) in regular mode from recognized university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with minimum 55% in 7th & 8th semester without ATKT.

Selection Procedure
1. The candidates shortlisted for Exam on the basis of their “On-line Applications” shall be required to submit photocopies of all the relevant certificates and subsequently, the original certificates for verification as and when required and if not submitted within prescribed time limit; their candidature will be considered invalid.
2. The exam will be conducted by On-line mode considering the no. of candidates registered
3. The tentative syllabus for the exam will be including but not limited to following topics and emphasis could differ
Section: I Gujarati Language & Grammar (10%)
Section: II General Knowledge (10%)
Section: III English knowledge (10%)
Section: V Covering following subjective topics (70%)
4. On-line Application
5. On-line Exam (Examination Centers will be in all over Gujarat)
6. After completion of the Exam, the candidates can view provisional Question/Answer Key and if any objection, the same can be raised on payment of Fees within 3 days on publishing the same.
7. If any objections are received, same will be put up before subject experts for review.
8. Upon completion of above, the result and provisional merit list along with final answer key will be published on our website www.gsecl.in
9. The candidates will be called for documents verification and preemployment medical examination considering the vacancies and roster position. Intimation in this regard shall be given on their registered mail only.
10. Final selection list will be prepared and appointment orders shall be issued to eligible candidates accordingly.
How to Apply:
1. On-line submission of application commences: 25th August, 2021. Last date for On-line submission of application: 14th September, 2021.
2. The last date of On-line application is 14th September, 2021 06.00 p.m.
3. The link for On-line Application will open from 25.08.2021. Interested candidates meeting with above criteria may apply “On-line” on or before 14.12.2021 before 06.00 P.M.
4. The candidates shortlisted for Exam on the basis of their “On-line Applications” shall be required to submit photocopies of all the relevant certificates and subsequently, the original certificates for verification as and when required and if not submitted within prescribed time limit; their candidature will be considered invalid.
5. On-line application form alongwith two recent passport size photographs should be affixed on the space provided on the application form.
6. Self-attested copy of
(i) School Leaving Certificate
(ii) All Mark-sheets of B.E./B.Tech.
(iii) Certificate from the Institute/University mentioning percentage marks obtained in case grading system.
(iv) Degree Certificate
(v) Caste (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS)/Disability Certificate issued by authority of Gujarat State.
7. Identification Proof (Voter ID/Pan Card/Aadhar Card/Driving License etc.)
8. Residential Address Proof (Electricity Bill/Telephone Bill/Ration Card etc.)
9. Any other Certificate/document applicable.

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) was incorporated in August 1993 and is registered under the Companies Act, 1956 with the objectives to initiate a process of restructuring of Power Sector and to mobilize resources from the market for adding to the generating capacity of the State and improving the quality and cost of existing generation. The Company was promoted by erstwhile Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) as it's wholly owned subsidiary in the context of liberalization and as a part of efforts towards restructuring of the Power Sector. The Memorandum and Articles of Association of GSECL envisage a wide spectrum of activities to improve the electricity infrastructure of Gujarat. GSECL has initiated its activities in the field of Generation of Power.
