Eligibility for Senior Chemical Assistant
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry as the principal subject from a recognized university or institution.
- Experience: About two years of experience on the post not below Chemical Assistant Class III in Commissionerate of Geology and Mining, Gujarat State; OR chemical analysis of rock, minerals, ores using conventional and analytical instrumentation in Government/Local Bodies/Government undertaking/Board/Corporation/University/private or public sector lab (equivalent rank).
- Other Requirements: Basic knowledge of computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967; adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Age Limit (as on 13 Feb 2026): 18 to 37 years. Relaxation for PwD candidates (10-20 years depending on category).
