Educational Qualification:
a) Senior Secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks.
b) Graduation degree in Commerce Stream from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks.
c) Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation level. Desirable Qualification:
a) Master's degree in Commerce stream from a recognized University will be preferred.
b) Basic Knowledge of Computers (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.)
c) Experience in handling accounts/Finance/Office matters in Central Govt./State Govt/PSUs/Autonomous bodies/private organizations of repute.

It was a part of Punjab Agricultural University and was established on 9 August 2005 to serve the society by promoting the livestock production, health and prevention of diseases through integrated teaching and extension programs. The mission of the college is to produce veterinary graduates, scientists and extension workers for promoting better livestock health, by prevention of disease, increasing production and reproduction of livestock, thus improving the quality of rural life in Punjab.
