• Language Requirement: Must have passed Punjabi up to Matric standard.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience of Trials / Studies for 2 years, or equivalent knowledge of computers.

How to Apply for GGSMCH Project Nurse-II

This recruitment follows a two-step process: (1) Offline application submission by post or hand delivery, followed by (2) Walk-in interview at the college venue.

1. Obtain the prescribed application form from the Download GGSMCH Project Nurse-II Official Notification PDF.
2. Prepare a non-refundable demand draft in favour of 'The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot' payable at Faridkot — Rs. 1,770 for General/OBC and Rs. 885 for SC category.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Offline Application Screening: Applications received by the deadline (15 October 2026, 5:00 PM) will be screened for eligibility against the prescribed qualifications and age limit.
2. Document Verification: Eligible candidates will undergo verification of original documents on 16 October 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Principal Office, GGSMCH, Faridkot.
3. Walk-in Interview: Candidates shortlisted after document verification will be interviewed on the same day (16 October 2026).
4. Final Selection: Merit-based selection considering qualifications, experience, and performance in the interview.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the walk-in interview.

Pay, Tenure & Project Nature

The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 20,000/- per month plus 10% HRA (Rs. 2,000), totalling Rs. 22,000/- per month. This position is purely on a temporary and contractual basis under the ICMR-funded Tele_ESSI research project. The project tenure runs up to 31 January 2027, subject to continuation of the project and availability of funds. This is not a permanent or regular government appointment.
