West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti will engage personnel on contract basis against consequential vacancies for the position of District Epidemiologist NCD in National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke (NPCDCS) under National Health Mission (NHM), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal and will post them at District of West Bengal.

1. Name of the Post: District Epidemiologist NCD

3. Place of Posting: District NCD Cell of any district of West Bengal as per vacancy.

4. Essential Criteria: M.B.B.S with P.G. Degree/ Diploma in Public Health / Epidemiology [MD (PSM/ Community Medicine), DPH, MAE, MPH etc.] OR M.B.B.S with minimum 2 years experience in Public Health. OR M.Sc. in Life Science/Epidemiology with minimum 2 years experience in Public Health. OR BAMS/BHMS with MPH.

5. Desirable Qualification: Ph.D/M.Phil.(for M.Sc. students)

6. Remuneration per month: 

a) MBBS with P.G. Degree Public Health/Epidemiology - 70,000

b) MBBS with P.G. Diploma in Public Health/Epidemiolgy: 65,000

c) M.B.B.S with minimum 2 years experience in Public Health: 60000

d) M.Sc. in Life Science /Epidemiology, with minimum 2 years experience in Public Health: 40000

e) BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS with MPH: 40000

40000 - 70000(Per Month)

Selection Procedure

Applications will be initially shortlisted on the basis of academic qualification and experience as per on-line data submitted by the candidates. The shortlisted candidates after verification of original testimonials will be called for further steps at the ratio of 1:3 against declared vacancy. Scale of Scoring — Total 100 Marks
