Application For The Post Of District Judge (Entry Level) Through Limited Competitive Examination -2021 Under Rule Of Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service As per the directions of Hon’ble the Supreme Court given in C.A. 1867/06 in the matter of Malik Mazhar Sultan and Another V/s U.P. Public Service Commission & Ors., 10% of the vacancies in the cadre of District Judge (Entry Level) has to be filled up by promotion through "Limited Competitive Examination" from Civil Judges (Senior Division) having not less than five years of qualifying service as Senior Civil Judge. 1. Position: District Judge (Entry Level) 2. No of Posts: 01 3. Applications are invited in the prescribed format annexed herewith from the eligible Senior Civil Judge having not less than 5 years of qualifying service as Senior Civil Judge for filling up of 01 (One) vacancy in the cadre of District Judge (Entry Level) through limited competitive examination 4. The Senior Civil Judges having not less than 5 years of qualifying service as Senior Civil Judges shall only be eligible to appear in the said examination. 5. Candidates appearing for promotion through limited competitive examination under Rule shall be required to secure minimum 50% marks in the written examination and minimum 33% marks in the viva-voce. 6. The Chhattisgarh High Court is one of the new High Court in India. It was established on 1st of November 2000 as a separate High Court for newly created State of Chhattisgarh under the Madhya Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2000 having its jurisdiction over the territories of the state of Chhattisgarh. The High Court of Bilaspur is the 19th High Court of India. The High Court was inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice B.N. Kirpal, Judge Supreme Court of India on 1st of November 2000 in the Presence of Mr. Arun Jaitley, Union Minister of State for Law and Justice and Company Affairs Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bhawani Singh Chief Justice of High Court of M.P. and Hon’ble Mr. Justice R.S. Garg, first Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh at Bilaspur. It's new building is situated in Bilaspur at Bodri. The court has sanctioned strength of twenty two judges.
