HGML Requires "Civil Engineers, Geologists & Accounts Officers" on Contract basis. The Posts are purely on contract basis for a period of one year only and the Number of posts indicated below are provisional and are liable to be modified depending upon the exigencies at the discretion of the Management. 1. Position: Civil Engineers 2. No of Post: 05 3. Essential Qualification & Experience-First Class in B.E./ B.Tech./M.Tech, in Civil engineering from any State/Central Government recognized universities with minimum 2 years experience. 4. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month. 1. Position: Geologists 2. No of Post: 10 3. Essential Qualification & Experience-First Class in M.Sc. (Geology) from any State/Central Government recongnized universities. Desirable experience of 01/02 years with the knowledge of geological software. 4. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month. 1. Position: Accounts Officers 2. No of Post: 03 3. Essential Qualification & Experence- First Class in M.Com/ MBA (Finance) from any State/Central Government recognized universities with minimum 3 years experience 4. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month.

Hutti Gold Mines Company Limited (HGML), Government of Karnataka Undertaking (Established in 1947 as Hyderabad Gold Mines), has the unique distinction of being the only producer of primary gold in India. HGML has been active in the exploration, development, and exploitation of gold deposits occurring in Karnataka. The Company's Corporate Office is located in Bangalore and it operates two units-The Hutti Gold unit (HGU) ,in Raichur district and the Chitradurga Gold Unit (CGU) in Chitradurga district with an operating mine at Ajjanahalli (Tumkur District) .
The HGML currently processes ore from Hutti Gold Mine and two satellite mines at Uti (opencast) and Hira-Buddinni (Exploratory underground mine).
The Hutti gold deposit occurs within the 65 K.M. long Hutti-Maski greenstone belt consisting of Archaean metavolcanic rocks. In common with all known gold occurrences in India, the Hutti deposit was extensively and intensively explored and mined by ancients during centuries preceding and immediately following the start of this Christian era (A.D). The Hutti mine is probably one of the most ancient metal mines in the world, dating to the Pre-Ashokan period.
