Educational Qualification: M.Sc

Walk-in-Interview for one position of Senior Research Fellow under NASF project "Artificial Intelligence based mobile app for identfication and advisory of major diseases and insect pests" (PI - Dr. P.Lakshmi Soujanya, Senior Scientist, Co-Pl Dr. Sumit Kumar Aggarwal, Scientist ) will be conducted at this Institute on the date(s)/time and venue and other details shown below, on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project/scheme. The eligible and interested candidates are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview at ICAR-IMR, PAU Campus, Ludhiana.

1. Position: Senior Research Fellow

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA for 1st year and 2nd year and Rs.35,000/- plus HRA for 3rd year.

4. Duration of engagement: Upto September., 2022. The period can, however, be curtailed/ extended as per need, subject to performance.

5. Qualifications Essential: Master Degree in relevant subject (Plant Protection/Plant Pathology/Agricultural Entomology/Microbiology /Agricultural Microbiology/Life Sciences) with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor's Degree. Candidates having Post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's Degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience as per ICAR guidelines.

6. Place of posting: ICAR-IIMR, Ludhiana. But the incumbent can be posted/deputed anywhere in India.
