Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Academic Assistant

• Essential: Post-graduate with first class. Candidates must have a BSc/BA in Economics or MSc/MA in Economics or both.
• Desirable: Relevant experience either in academics or industry or an M.Phil (or higher qualifications).

Eligibility for Academic Associate

• Essential: Ph.D. in relevant area.
• Experience: Relevant academic or industrial job experience is preferred and may result in stipend increments.

Salary / Stipend

• Academic Assistant (No Experience): Rs. 27,500/- per month
• Academic Assistant (With Experience): Increment of Rs. 1,500/- per completed year of relevant academic/industrial job experience, subject to maximum ceiling of Rs. 32,000/- per month at the time of appointment.
• Academic Associate (Ph.D. or equivalent): Rs. 33,000/- per month
• Academic Associate (With Experience): Increment of Rs. 2,000/- per completed year of relevant academic/industrial job experience, subject to maximum ceiling of Rs. 39,000/- per month at the time of appointment.
