Assistant Engineer, Technical Assistant

Educational Qualification:
Assistant Engineer (Civil): Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with first class from a recognized University / Institute with 3 years' relevant experience in Pay Level- 6 as Junior Engineer or above in the field of construction of Institutional Building, maintenance, designing and planning of civil works as per CPWD norms (OR) Diploma in Civil Engineering with first class from a recognized University/ Institute with 5 years relevant experience in Pay Level- 6 as Junior Engineer or above in the field of construction of Institutional Building, maintenance, designing and planning of civil works as per CPWD norms.
Technical Assistant (Physical Sciences): M.Sc. in Physics / BS-MS with Physics Major with at least 55% marks. Experience: 5 years' relevant experience in handling advanced sophisticated instrument / research equipment in a Laboratory / Academic / Research / Establishments of National/ International Repute.
Pay Scale:
INR
Level-7 Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 38 Years.
Application Fee: The applicant is required to pay a non-refundable application fee of 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) through online for each post applied. However, the application fee is exempted for candidates belonging to Women/SC/ST/EX- servicemen/PWD/Transgender category. For claiming such exemptions, the applicant has to submit a self-attested copy of latest SC/ST/ PwD/Transgender certificate/Identity Proof/ Discharge Certificate as applicable.

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), are a group of premier science education and research institutes in the country. These institutions have been declared by Act of Parliament as institutions of national importance, and are intended to be the IITs of basic sciences. The institutes were created by the Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), under The National Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Bill, 2010, which was passed by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012. Seven IISERs have been established across India, namely IISER Kolkata in West Bengal, IISER Pune in Maharashtra, IISER Mohali in Punjab, IISER Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, IISER Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, IISER Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh and IISER Berhampur in Odisha.Together with the IISER at Berhampur, Odisha that commenced in 2016.
