The interested applicants are invited to appear in a walk-in interview for the post of Project Assistant to work on the project titled “Biometrics on Blockchain” sanctioned by Department of Science & Technology (DST), India.
1. Post Name: Project Assistant - 01
2. Area of Specialization: Blockchains, Image processing, Data Analysis
3. Duration: Initially for 3 months or up to duration of the project, whichever is later
4. Consolidated Salary: 20,000/- (Per month) Consolidated
5. Minimum Qualification:
a. B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Applications or equivalent field with 55% marks or CGPA 5.5.
b. MCA/ M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Computer Science /Mathematics/Statistics/ or equivalent field with 55% marks or CGPA 5.5.

Selection Procedure
1. Walk-in interview (through Video Conferencing mode) on November 8th 2021 to work as Project Assistant in a research project funded by DST.
2. The interested applicants are invited to appear in a walk-in interview through Video Conferencing (VC) mode (the invite link will be sent by email one day before the date of interview) to be held at IIT Jammu on November 8th 2021

The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu ( IIT Jammu) is a public research university located in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India.The Institute came into existence in 2016 when a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India, was signed for setting up an IIT campus at village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota at Jammu.
Currently, the institute offers three UG programs namely, B.tech in Computer science, B.tech in Electrical Engineering and B.tech in Mechanical Engineering.
