Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited from the potential/highly motivated candidates for the post of Research Associate (RA) to work in the international project titled “Micro RNA diagnostic kit using doped carbon nanofibers” under National Technical Textiles Mission.

1. Position: Research Associate

2. Area of Specialization: Biological Sciences

3. Duration: 3 Years or up to duration of the project, whichever is earlier

4. Consolidated Salary per Month: 47, 000 - 54,000 + HRA per month (Depending on Decision of Selection Committee)

5. Eligibility Criteria:

i. Candidates with PhD in any branch of chemical engineering, biological sciences or bioengineering with specialization in microbial and animal cell culture, who have good handling experience in molecular biological experiments and/or bioengineering with at least one research paper in SCI (or SCI Expanded) Indexed Journal are invited to apply for the RA post in this project.

ii. Candidates having prior experience in Bacterial cell culture, clinical urine sampling, animal cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, etc will be given preference. (Candidate should have minimum 1st division in graduation and postgraduation levels)

6. Nature of JOB:

Candidate will be engaged in the setting up experiments related to the project, data retrieval, data analysis, report preparation, etc. The candidate will have to work with different laboratories of different disciplinary within the country. He /She will be supported by team of researchers working in this project
