ICFRE Invites Application for Consultant Recruitment 2022

The Director, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun invite applications tar the engagement of Consultant in the project entitled 'Forest Fire Research and knowledge Management (AICRP-14)' purely on temporary basis.

1. Post Name : Consultant

2. Name of Project and Component : Forest Fire Research and knowledge Management (AICRP-14)

3. Qualification : Essential Qualifications: A. i. Post Graduate Degree in Science/Forestry ii. Applicant must have at least 25 years of experience of Forest Protection, Management and Extension activities (including experience in Forest Fire Management). The applicant should have knowledge of the geographical area of the Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland States. Or

B. i. Retired Forest Officer not below the rank of CF with Degree/Diploma ii. Applicant must have at least 25 years of experience of Forest Protection, Management and Extension activities (including experience in Forest Fire Management). The applicant should have knowledge of the geographical area of the Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, Meghala a Mizoram and Na aland States.

5. Emolument : A fix sum of Rs. 50,000/-per month (Fifty thousand) only per month TADA admissible for Gr. A' officer

Selection Procedure

1. The selection is governed by the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education, Dehradun rules and don't guarantee subsequent employment in any Institute under the Council.

2. The above positions are purely contractual, time bound and co-terminus with the projects.

3. The selected candidate is expected to join within 15 days after the date of issue of the award letter failing which the offer may be cancelled.
