Eligibility Criteria for NMRC Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

• Senior Section Engineer (Civil/Track): Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a government-recognized institute.
• Senior Section Engineer (Rolling Stock): Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Section Engineer (AFC & Telecom/Electrical/Signaling & Telecom): Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
• Senior Section Officer (Finance): Commerce degree with MBA Finance OR CA / CMA.
• Senior Section Officer (Legal): Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Senior Section Officer (HR): Bachelor’s Degree with MBA HR / PG Diploma in HRM, HRD, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations.

Experience

Minimum 6 years of supervisory or above-level experience in relevant government sector works. Private sector experience, management trainee, graduate engineer trainee, and apprenticeship experience will not be counted.
