Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) Invites Application for Individual Consultant Recruitment 2022

1. Post Name: Individual Consultant

2. Assignment Title: Selection of Carbon Monitoring Consultant

3. Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Natural Resource Management/ Forestry/ Ecology/ Environmental Science/ Climate Change or equivalent and desirable qualification is doctorate degree in the relevant field.

4. Experience: More than 10 years upto 15 years of experience in the field of forestry/Environmental Science/ Ecology/ Climate Change.

5. Duration and Location:

a. Duration of the contract for this assignment will be up to 30 July 2023. However, performance of the consultant will be reviewed half yearly basis. In case of unsatisfactory performance during the period, contract can be terminated by giving two months’ prior notice to the consultant.

b. The consultant will report to the Project Director and Project Manager of ESIP. Consultant will be based at ICFRE, Dehradun. However, contracts involve extensive long duration touring in the project areas under the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh for execution of project activities.

6. Remuneration and Payment:

a. Terms The consolidated remuneration of the consultant will be INR 1,00,000/- per month and TDS will be deducted as per the Income Tax Norms.

b. Annual hike @ 8% of consolidated monthly remuneration may be provided subject to the satisfactory performance of the consultant.

c. Travel expenditure, to the travel undertaken by the consultant for project works will be reimbursed as per the norms of the Government of India/ICFRE

d. No other allowances would be reimbursed or paid to the consultant.
