Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Library Trainee: Postgraduate in Library & Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.) from a reputed University/Institution. Final-year students awaiting results may apply but must produce consolidated/final semester mark sheets during interview.
- Desirable: Basic knowledge of computers; working knowledge of library automation (Koha, Libsys), institutional repository software (DSpace, E-prints), archives management software, research data management software, CMS (Drupal, WordPress); above 60% marks consistently; UGC NET or NET/SLET/SET qualification.
- Age Limit: 26 years as on the closing date (23.11.2026). Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates as per Government of India rules.
- Nationality: Indian nationals only.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
Candidates will be selected through interview. The Institute reserves the right to conduct a written test to shortlist candidates if attendance is high. Mere possession of minimum qualifications does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
