There are a total of 02 vacancies available for the Special Project Associate positions under the Hindalco-funded project titled "Need Identification Cum Baseline Study":

During fieldwork, TA/DA will be provided as per the prevailing norms of the Institute. No other allowances are admissible.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Special Project Associate (SPA) – Position 1:
  • Post Graduate degree in Forestry / Environmental Science / Environment Management / Climate Change & Sustainability Studies from a recognised University or Institute with not less than 60% marks.
  • At least one publication in a reputed journal.
• Special Project Associate (SPA) – Position 2:
  • Post Graduate degree in Forestry / Environmental Science / Environment Management / Climate Change & Sustainability Studies from a recognised University or Institute with not less than 60% marks.
  • Publication requirement is not applicable for Position 2.
• Desirable Qualification / Experience (Both Positions):
  • Experience in remote sensing and GIS application.
  • Excellent writing skills (briefs and research reports).
  • Well conversant in English & Hindi.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be through a direct walk-in interview on 22 October 2026 at IIFM Bhopal. Candidates must first send a confirmation email expressing willingness to participate by 22 October 2026. Registration for the interview will close strictly at 10:00 AM and the interview will commence from 11:00 AM at Room No. 106, IIFM, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal- 462003. The selection process involves:

1. Verification of documents and eligibility at the registration desk.
2. Personal interview assessing subject knowledge, communication skills, and research aptitude.

No TA/DA will be provided to attend the interview. However, during fieldwork on the project, TA/DA will be paid as per the prevailing norms of the Institute.

6. The period of engagement is 04 months from the date of joining or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
