Online applications are invited from the Indian Nationals, who belongs to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS and PwD category for the faculty positions in the various departments/schools of the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati as detailed below:

1. Positions: Associate Professor (Pay level 13A2) and Professor (Pay level 14A)

2. Department/School (For Associate Professor and Professor): Biosciences and Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Design, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Humanities and Social Sciences and, School of Agro and Rural Technology

3. School (only for Associate Professor): Mehta Family school of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MFSDS&AI), School of Energy Science and Engineering, School of Health Sciences and Technology

4. Associate Professor: A minimum of 6 years of teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer / Senior Design Engineer.

5. Professor: A minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution / institutions of comparable standards.

6. Minimum requirements of qualification and/or experience may be relaxed in respect of exceptionally outstanding candidates.
