Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc

A research associate position is immediately available in the Production and Quantitative Methods (P&QM) area at IIM Ahmedabad. Responsibilities of the research associate include carrying out research on real-world business problems using data science algorithms and analytical methods. Research work includes identifying the right algorithm or a combination of algorithms to solve the business problem and model implementation using Matlab/ R/ Python.

1. Name of the Post: Research Associate

2. Qualification: Applicants should have an undergraduate/graduate degree in engineering/operations research/ management science/applied mathematics/ economics, or other-related fields (from Tier-I institutions only) with a strong exposure to programming before the appointment begins. Further, strong written and oral communication skills are a must.

3. Duration: The position will be initially offered for a period of six months and may be extended depending on performance, at the discretion of the faculty supervisor.
