IIM Bangalore Invites Application for Manager / Senior Manager Recruitment 2022

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore invites applications for the position of Manager or Senior Manager– Finance & Accounts. At IIMB, Finance and Accounts plays a key role in controlling and managing the financials of the institute. The department also handles all the legal matters as well as all aspects related to statutory finance and accounting compliances.

1. Position: Manager / Senior Manager– Finance & Accounts

2. Key Skills / Abilities/Knowledge required: Strong Analytical, Planning and Forecasting skills should be detail oriented and have the ability to drive Audit, payroll and compliance processes across the Institute. Have strong accounting and bookkeeping skills. Have Proficient knowledge of direct and indirect tax compliance requirements (GST/TDS/FCRA/ labour cess etc.)

a. Knowledge of public procurement policies, GFR, GeM etc,. is strongly desirable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have strong customer service orientation Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and should have ability to work effectively with members of the staff and facultyProficiency in office automation systems and ERP systems. Strong communication skills - oral and written

3. Educational qualification and Experience: Candidate should be a First-Class Graduate with professional qualifications of CA/ICWA. Candidates with additional qualification of MBA with Specialization in Finance from a reputed Institute would be preferred. Should have a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in handling the assignments listed under major duties & responsibilities. Experience in Industry/PSU/Government/Similar autonomous institutions of higher education is desirable Candidates should have hands on experience of working in ERP environment.

4. Reporting Relationships: Manager / Senior Manager - Finance and Accounting will be under the administrative control of Head – Finance and Accounts. In addition, s/he will be required to work with Director, Dean – Administration and with the Sub-Committee(s) of the Board of Governors, IIMB whenever required.
