Educational Qualification: (a) Three- or Four - year Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or EHS/Safety. (b) PG Diploma (or higher) in Safety from a recognized Degree granting institution or body. This criterion is relaxable for candidates with a Four - year Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in related Science / Engineering disciplines. Desirable Qualification (a) Two years of experience in the safe handling of chemicals or compressed gases, etc. in industry/academic/regulatory body/ laboratory. OR (b) Two years of experience in the safe handling of biological agents or radioactive materials in the industry/ academia / regulatory body/laboratory. OR (c) Two years of experience in occupational and fire safety in industry/ academia / regulatory body/laboratory.
