Educational Qualification:
Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
Post Graduate in basic Science or Graduate/ Post Graduate in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
1. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test CSIRUGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc. +2 years of research experience
Project Engineer: Ph.D degree Or Master`s degree in Engineering +3 years experience Or Bachelor`s degree in Engineering + 6 years experience.
Associate Project Engineer: Master’s degree Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering + 3 years experience Or MCA.
Pay Scale:
INR
50810-68911/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 24 Years.

Candidates have to appear in the Walk in Interview along with an application/CV on plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications, experience, contact address, phone no., E- mail etc. and submit photocopies of relevant documents at the time of interview on 20th November 2025 (Thursday) at 10:00 am. Venue: Centre for Nanotechnology. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines, offering B.Tech., B.Des., BSc(Hons), M.Tech., M.Des., M.Sc., MBA, M.A. and Ph.D. programmes. Within a short period of time, IIT Guwahati has been able to build up world class infrastructure for carrying out advanced research and has been equipped with state-of-the-art scientific and engineering instruments. Besides its laurels in teaching and research, IIT Guwahati has been able to fulfil the aspirations of people of the North East region to a great extent since its inception in 1994.
Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati's campus is on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city. With the majestic Brahmaputra on one side, and with hills and vast open spaces on others, the campus provides an ideal setting for learning.
