Eligibility Criteria for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2026
- JRF: B.Tech/MSc/MCA with proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Minimum 1 year experience or fresher can apply.
- JRF (GATE) V2: Postgraduate degree in relevant field + Bachelor's in Electrical/CS/Data Science/Civil/MCA. Valid NET/GATE score required.
- JRF (GATE) V1: Postgraduate degree + Bachelor's in Grass Root Technology/Rural Tech/Biotech/Mechanical/Civil/Chemical/Basic Science. Valid NET/GATE score.

Salary / Stipend Details
The salary varies by post as per the table above. The approximate monthly range is Rs. 10,000 – 37,000 (consolidated). Selected candidates will receive remuneration as per IIT Guwahati norms and 7th CPC guidelines for contractual staff.
Selection Process
