Eligibility for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Essential Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engg./Production Engg./Aerospace Engg./Equivalent OR ME/M.Tech in Machine Design/Applied Mechanics/Aerospace Engg./Equivalent.
- Preference: GATE qualified candidates will be preferred. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
Job Description & Selection Process
- Job Description: The project aims at a systematic investigation of the structural behaviour of unaged and aged sandwich composites for armament applications. The candidate will employ a systematic experimental approach to characterize Nomex, PVC foam, and PVC foam core sandwich composites and evaluate fatigue performance.
- Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified through email for an online interview via Webex or Google Meet.
- Duration: 3 Years (15/02/2026 to 14/02/2028). Selected candidates may get an opportunity to pursue a PhD with MHRD fellowship after the project ends.
