Eligibility for Project Research Scientist (Non-Medical)
- Essential Qualification: PhD in the discipline of Physics/ Nanoscience and Nanotechnology/ Biotechnology and Bioscience/ Biomedical Engineering/ Photonics.
- Specific Experience Requirement: Candidates must have worked on nanostructured sensors/biosensors/SERS, machine learning, etc. in their PhD degree.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of both theory and experiments in the aforementioned field. Candidates who have worked on and published papers in the fields of photonic/plasmonic/nanostructured sensors/biosensors/SERS, machine learning, etc. will be given preference.
- Note: Candidates who have recently submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they will furnish the proof of the award of Ph.D. degree at the time of interview at IIT Roorkee, if shortlisted. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
