Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for 2 positions of “Junior Research Fellow” under the following research projects funded by SERB and CSIR, Government of India.
1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
2. No. of Post: 02
3. Title of the Research Project: SERB project- Study of COPI-mediated inhibition of precocious seedling establishment under stress conditions CSIR project- Role of B-box proteins in DNA repair and genotoxicity tolerance in plants exposed to high UV-B
4. Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree in any branch of life sciences with CSIR/UGCNET/GATE qualification. Preference will be given to candidates having experience working with Arabidopsis and yeast. The work will involve molecular biology, Arabidopsis genetics and biochemistry, especially protein interaction studies.
5. Salary: Rs. 31000.00 + HRA as applicable
6. Duration: 1 year subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of research project.

Selection Procedure
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified by March 25th and interviews are likely to be held in the last week of March.
