Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis: 1. Post Name: Research Associate I 2. Name of Project: Asymptotic preserving IMEX-DG schemes on adaptive grids for multiscale compressible flows 3. Minimum Educational qualification (as prescribed by the funding agency): Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Aerospace Engineering/ Mechanical engineering or related fields. 4. Preference: This project requires strong background in partial differential equations, compressible fluid flows, numerical analysis and scientific computing. 5. No of Post: 01 6. Fellowship amount: 47,000 per month (Consolidated) 7. Tenure of the post: Project duration is 3 years. Initial contract is for 6 months and extendable based on the performance of the candidate.
