Educational Qualification: Any Graduate

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) invites application from eligible Indian nationals for the post of Assistant Security Officer purely on short term contract basis.

1. Position: Assistant Security Officer

2. Pay: Rs.40,000/- to Rs.50,000/- (consolidated) per month depending on credentials and performance.

3. Essential Qualification and other requirements:

a. Graduation with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA

b. Retired personnel from Defense Services / Central Paramilitary with minimum 05 years’ experience in the Supervisory capacity in the Pay Level 7 as per 7th CPC or its equivalent.

c. Holding valid driving license of Light motor vehicle.

d. Sound health and active habits.

4. Desirable:

Experience in managing the activities of the Security wing, handling electronic security and surveillance systems, conversant with security rules and liaison with Local Government for law & order related procedures, experience in firefighting techniques etc.
