Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of ‘Research Associate-I’ in IMPRINT-IIC project with following details 1. Name of the position: Research Associate (RA-I) 2. Number of Positions: 01 3. Last date of Application: Friday, 16 th Feb 2022 (before 5.00 pm). 4. Salary (p.m.): Rs. 47,000 + 16% HRA 5. Duration of Position: Initially for eight months and may be extendible or, co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. 6. Essential qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after ME/MTech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal. The experience and degree must be in the related field. 7. Desirable: Have hands on experience in Raspberry Pi. Expertise in Python scripting and network programming using Python. Expertise in web cam video streaming and it's networking. Knowledge of web-app development is desirable. Working knowledge of STUN/TURN and other NAT Traversal approaches is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates having JRF-NET/GATE and working experience relevant to the project. 8. Objective of the project: Overall objective of the project is to be able to design, develop and deploy a smart ambulance solution where live data (including image, audio and video) is streamed using multiple uplink cellular connections. The remote center requires to aggregate the multiple data stream, have a dash-board to identify the live ambulances and their locations, be able to direct the ambulance appropriately. The solution is proposed to be deployed and tested on commercially available ambulances of our validation partner.

Selection Procedure
1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
2. If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement
3. The decision of the selection committee will be final.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai was established in the state of Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development in the year 2016.
IIT Bhilai is presently housed in its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
IIT Bhilai offers Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MSc), and Doctoral programs (Ph.D.) in various departments. The Institute made its modest start with the introduction of the BTech program in August 2016. The Institute is currently offering BTech and MTech programs in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI), Mechatronics and Electric Vehicle Technology (EVT, MTech); and Ph.D. program in the departments of Chemistry (CHM), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mathematics (MTH), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Physics (PHY) and Liberal Arts (LA).
IIT Bhilai has established a 3-D Printing Lab that constitutes an integral part of the 3-D Modeling and Design course, a fabrication lab, an electrical lab, a computer lab, and a library in a short duration.
