Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the School of Minerals, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of this Institute
1. Name of the Temporary Assignment : Research Associate – 1 post
2. Name of the temporary research Project : “Evaluation of Coal Tar Derived Hard/Soft Carbon Anodes for Power Li‐ion Batteries”.
3. Name of the Funding Agency : Tata Steel Limited
4. Fellowship : ₹ 40,000 per month (consolidated)
5. Qualification & Experiences : PhD in Physics/ Chemistry or Material Science/ Chemical. Li‐ion Batteries experience needed.
6. Duration Appointment : For a period of six months.

Selection Procedure
1.Selection to the post will be done through online interaction only from among the shortlisted candidates. There is no need to send hard copy of the application. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email only for online Interaction with the designated Committee through skype/google meet etc.
2.Selection Process : The selection process will be based on interview.

Although IIT Bhubaneswar had started functioning from two transit campuses in the Bhubaneswar city during its inception period, majority of residential and academic activities have now started in the permanent campus at Argul.
