Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for a postdoctoral position from motivated individuals interested in “hot QCD matter in the influence of background electromagnetic fields”. The appointment will be for twelve months (one year).

1. Name of the Post: Postdoctoral Position

2. Employment duration: 12 months (One year)

3. Place of the work: Physics Discipline, IIT Gandhinagar

4. Monthly emoluments: Rs. 50, 000/- (Fifty Thousand) 

5. Eligibility and expectations: Candidates with a doctoral (Ph.D.) degree/ those who have recently submitted their Ph.D. thesis in Theoretical High Energy Physics with a specialization in the areas related to hot QCD matter, may apply for the said position. Candidates with excellent academic record and a proven track record in research in the area related to finite temperature field theory approach to hot QCD medium and a good hold on kinetic theory modeling of hot QCD with a focus on heavy quark dynamics are particularly encouraged to apply.

Pay Scale: INR 50000(Per Month)
